SENIOR HOUSING

Korean American Community Services offers two senior housing complexes for Korean seniors. Both MooGoong and Koram are funded with support from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). If you have a need for Senior Housing suited for a person of Korean background, please contact us to be placed on our waiting list.

MOOGOONG SENIOR HOUSING

MooGoong Terrace, located at 4848 N. Kedzie Ave., is a community owned senior housing, managed by KACS. Located in Chicago's Albany Park, MooGoong Terrace offers its 84 elderly residents exercise programs, health screening, English cinema class, drama workshops, choral practice and seasonal outings. They also offer close access to Lawrence Avenue, one of the largest concentrations of Korean American shops, restaurants and businesses in Chicago.

KORAM SENIOR HOUSING

Koram Senior Housing, located at 4444 N. Harding Avenue, is the second senior housing, developed and managed by KACS. As with its predecessor MooGoong Terrace, Koram's 80 senior residents engage in a wide array of activities from aerobics, English class, chorus, karaoke, bingo and semiannual picnics.
